Terms of Service
Last Updated: 1/7/2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the CheckWatch app and notification relay service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.
2. Service Description
CheckWatch provides a mechanism to relay alerts from a user-managed CheckMK instance to an iOS device via Apple Push Notification Service (APNs).
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the service only for lawful monitoring purposes. You must not:
- Reverse engineer the relay API.
- Attempt to bypass license validation or rate limits.
- Use the service to transmit spam, offensive content, or anything unrelated to system monitoring.
4. Rate Limits
To ensure service stability for all users, we enforce a rate limit of approximately 500 notifications per device per day. Excessive usage may result in temporary throttling or blocking of your license key. If you require higher volume, please contact support for an enterprise plan.
5. Availability and SLA
The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for high reliability to ensure you receive critical alerts, we do not offer a Service Level Agreement (SLA) or guarantee 100% uptime. Availability is subject to the status of Google Cloud Platform and Apple Push Notification Service.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the service, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall CheckWatch, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service.
